Overview

The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund is a Rs 1 lakh crore central government debt scheme offering loans up to Rs 2 crore per project with 3 percent interest subvention and credit guarantee, for farmers, FPOs, PACS, agri-entrepreneurs, and startups building post-harvest and farm infrastructure.

Eligibility

  • Individual farmers, groups of farmers, Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)
  • Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Self Help Groups (SHGs), Joint Liability Groups (JLGs)
  • Marketing co-operative societies, agri-entrepreneurs, start-ups including agri-graduate start-ups
  • State or central government sponsored agencies, PPP projects, APMCs, and federations of FPOs/SHGs

Funding Purpose

Debt financing for post-harvest and community-farming infrastructure projects.

Application Process

Register and apply online through the agriinfra.dac.gov.in portal; loans are disbursed via commercial banks, cooperative banks, RRBs, small finance banks, NCDC, and NBFCs, using DPR templates and checklists on the portal.
