AIC-JKLU Incubation Program

Overview

The Atal Incubation Centre at JK Lakshmipat University (AIC-JKLU) runs a 9-month, sector-agnostic incubation program under the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into ventures at the prototype and scaling stages. AIC-JKLU has been rated a top AIM incubator since 2019 and is supported by JK Lakshmipat University. It combines financial support with access to 33-plus specialised labs, mentorship from 43-plus domain experts, and go-to-market and legal/accounting support.

Eligibility

  • Innovators at the prototype or scaling stage, working on a product, service, or process
  • Priority sectors include energy, eldercare, sustainability, fintech, agritech, ed-tech, and EVs

Funding Purpose

Prototype-stage startups can receive up to Rs 20 lakh in non-dilutive grants for MVP validation, and growth-stage startups up to Rs 50 lakh in investment support, plus co-investment through partner networks, all aimed at product development, market validation, and scaling operations.

Application Process

Applicants apply via the F6S platform (f6s.com/saip-2026/apply). The AIC committee evaluates the application, shortlisted candidates have an in-person or online discussion, the Director recommends and approves selected startups, and the process concludes with MoU signing and registration.
