ECLGS 5.0

Overview

ECLGS 5.0 is a 2026 Government of India scheme, managed by NCGTC, providing 100 percent (MSME) or 90 percent (non-MSME, airlines) credit guarantee backed additional working capital loans to existing standard borrowers, with loans up to Rs 100 crore per MSME borrower.

Eligibility

  • Existing borrower with Standard (excluding SMA-2) credit facilities as of 31 March 2026 across all lenders
  • MSMEs need a valid UDYAM Registration or Udyam Assist Certificate
  • Non-MSME negative list: NBFCs, power generation/transmission/distribution, telecom service providers, sugar and ethanol manufacturing, IT companies, paper and paper products, educational institutions, beverages (excluding tea/coffee), and tobacco

Funding Purpose

Emergency guaranteed credit line for MSMEs and airlines facing tariff/geopolitical shocks.

Application Process

Apply exclusively via the JanSamarth portal by self-declaring details; the application is routed to the chosen lender branch, which assesses eligibility and sanctions the credit facility, and the guarantee is auto-lodged by the lender with NCGTC.
