Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF)

Overview
FIDF finances fisheries and aquaculture infrastructure projects with loans up to 80 percent of project cost and up to 3 percent interest subvention, administered by NFDB, with a maximum 12 year repayment period including a 2 year moratorium.
Eligibility
- State Governments/UTs, state owned corporations, state government undertakings
- Fisheries cooperative federations, cooperatives, and collective groups of fish farmers or producers
- Panchayati Raj Institutions, Self Help Groups, NGOs, women entrepreneurs, private companies, and individual entrepreneurs
Funding Purpose
Interest-subvented loans for fisheries and aquaculture infrastructure.
Application Process
NFDB is the nodal implementing agency; it receives, scrutinizes, and places proposals before the Central Approval and Monitoring Committee (CAMC) for approval. Applications are submitted via the fidf.in portal.
