Overview
A DST-sponsored i-TBI at Sanskriti University, Mathura, restricted specifically to agriculture and biotechnology innovations, with a fully published eligibility and use-of-funds policy and a 12-14 month development timeline requirement.
Eligibility
- Indian citizen innovators/co-founders, 18+, with government ID
- Startup (if registered) must be 51%+ Indian-owned, 2 years old or less, turnover Rs 25 lakh or less
- Strictly Agriculture/Biotechnology sector
- Must be a physical prototype with a commercialization roadmap - pure software/e-commerce/service-only excluded
Funding Purpose
Converting agri/biotech lab ideas into commercializable prototypes; explicit fund-use rules cover R&D outsourcing, materials, fabrication, limited travel, and patent filing - not personal payments, loan repayment, or infrastructure.
