Overview
Kotak BizLabs is a CSR initiative of Kotak Mahindra Bank aimed at empowering early-revenue-stage startups to fast-track their growth. It combines mentorship, funding access, strategic partnerships, and networking, and is delivered as a 6-8 month hybrid program blending online learning with in-person workshops and networking sessions, run in partnership with five incubators: IIMA Ventures, NSRCEL (IIM Bangalore), T-Hub, FITT (IIT Delhi), and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park.
Eligibility
- Must be a registered entity recognized by DPIIT
- Must be revenue-generating with a market-ready product and existing customers
- Must be building innovative solutions in the program's focus sectors: AgriTech, ClimateTech, CleanTech, DeepTech, FinTech, EdTech, HealthTech, Sustainability, Electric Mobility, and Indigenous Art and Craft
Funding Purpose
Participants receive a tailored curriculum of bootcamps and expert-led sessions, hands-on mentorship, curated networking, and access to the startup ecosystem, alongside catalytic grant funding of up to Rs. 30 lakh for select high-growth startups. Grant funding is distributed in tranches, and selected startups retain full equity.
Application Process
Startups submit an online application, reviewed by the partner incubators. Shortlisted applicants deliver a pitch presentation to an evaluation panel, followed by venture due diligence, before onboarding into the acceleration program. There are no application or participation fees.
