Overview
Krishi Mangal is a collaboration between Social Alpha and Cisco CSR, launched in 2021 to strengthen the resilience of smallholder farmers in India through innovation. The third edition focuses on deep-tech solutions addressing soil degradation, water scarcity, post-harvest losses, crop value realization, waste management, and input costs, with an emphasis on climate resilience and farmer-centric design.
Eligibility
- Must be a startup working on agricultural innovation in the designated focus areas: soil, water, post-harvest loss, crop value realization, waste management, input costs
Funding Purpose
Selected startups receive grant support of up to Rs 50 lakh for 9-12 months of field implementation, with access to additional non-dilutive and dilutive funding from Social Alpha of up to Rs 2 crore. A customized incubation track offers up to Rs 5 lakh per startup, plus lab infrastructure access, capacity-building masterclasses, market access opportunities, and fundraising advisory.
