Overview
MeitY TIDE 2.0 is a program of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to promote tech entrepreneurship through financial and technical support for ICT startups primarily engaged in emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, blockchain, and robotics, targeting sectors like education, agriculture, financial inclusion, infrastructure, environment, and cleantech. At Down Town Venture Labs (dtVL) Foundation, housed at the Assam down town University campus in Guwahati, the program is delivered as holistic incubation support including co-working space, mentoring, funding, and networking.
Eligibility
- EiR candidates must be Indian citizens with an idea or proof-of-concept, and at least one co-founder willing to pursue the idea full-time
- Grant Position candidates must be Indian citizens with a Proof of Concept or Prototype
Funding Purpose
At the Idea/PoC stage, support is an EiR stipend of up to Rs. 4 lakhs plus one year of pre-incubation support, meant to sustain the entrepreneur while developing the idea. At the Prototype stage, grant support of up to Rs. 7 lakhs plus one year of pre-incubation support is meant to fund prototype development and progression toward a viable product.
