Overview
AIC NCore Developmental Impact Foundation is an Atal Incubation Centre under the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, focused on applying technology to development problems in health, education, employment, sanitation, and sustainability for economically disadvantaged communities. Under this umbrella, N/Core is a social enterprise incubation and acceleration program implemented by The/Nudge Foundation (a Section 8 company based in Bengaluru) for early-stage nonprofit entrepreneurs working on India's livelihood challenges, delivered as a 9-month program in partnership with Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) mentors.
Eligibility
- Registered as, or registering as, a Trust, Society, or Section 8 company by the stated deadline
- Early-stage organisation, 0-3 years old, with a proof of concept or MVP already piloted
- At least one founder working full time on the venture
- Focused on resilient livelihoods for marginalised communities
Funding Purpose
The program provides a seed/innovation grant (reported as Rs 10-15 lakh per incubatee in some cohorts and Rs 20 lakh in another cohort description) intended to help build a minimum viable product, covering experimentation costs, team capacity building, and product development, alongside 1:1 mentoring and donor connect support.
Application Process
Applicants submit an online form by the stated deadline, shortlisted applicants present a business plan, multiple interview rounds follow with The/Nudge team and partners, the cohort is announced, and the program then launches.
