Overview

North East Growth Labs (NEGL) is a program jointly launched by SAP and IIMA Ventures (the innovation hub at IIM Ahmedabad), aimed at fostering innovation and sustainable development across the eight states of Northeast India. It targets 75 social enterprises working in sectors such as agri-tech, education, and healthcare, and has already run intensive bootcamps covering AI applications, business storytelling, B2B sales strategies, and sector-specific opportunity mapping.

Eligibility

  • Must be a social enterprise operating in Northeast India, across the region's eight states
  • Focus areas include agri-tech, education, and healthcare

Funding Purpose

The program provides technical resources and expertise, catalytic funding for early-stage development, and business opportunities and market connections, with the stated goal of enhancing livelihoods for over 3,000 people while advancing environmental sustainability and inclusive social progress.
