Overview
The Rainer Arnhold Fellowship is run by the Mulago Foundation and focuses on poverty alleviation solutions, targeting leaders with promising, scalable solutions to poverty who have the ability to deliver on them. It is one of Mulago's two flagship one-year fellowships, combining direct funding with intensive strategy coaching, design thinking workshops, and connection to a wider community of past fellows.

- Demonstrated capability to execute and deliver on the proposed solution
Funding Purpose
Each fellow receives $200k during the one-year fellowship, intended to support the organisation's core work, along with design thinking workshops, strategy coaching, connection to expert advisors and practitioners, and access to a community of 250+ Mulago alumni.
Application Process
Sourcing runs through referrals from Mulago's trusted network of organisations. Screening includes a single short application, a dual team review, and up to three conversational interviews, with roughly 20 fellows chosen from over 1,000 reviewed organisations.

- ZeedFund is an independent tracker, not the offering organisation or a funding body.
- Verify current eligibility, funding amount, and deadline on the official page before applying. Details can change after we last verified them.
- Once you apply, all follow-up (screening updates, interview or pitch invites, and the final decision) comes directly from the facilitator, incubator, or investor, never from ZeedFund. Check their application portal or email yourself for status updates; we won't have visibility into it.
