RKVY-RAFTAAR Idea/Pre-Seed Stage Funding

Overview
An idea/pre-seed stage funding track under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare's RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme, delivered through the R-ABI agribusiness incubator at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, to help agri-focused founders convert an idea or proof of concept into a working prototype. This is an earlier, distinct stage from RKVY-RAFTAAR's later seed-stage funding (up to INR 25 lakh) offered elsewhere in the network.
Eligibility
- Agri-focused idea or proof of concept
- Completion of a 2-month agripreneurship orientation at the R-ABI
- Must register as a DPIIT-recognized Indian startup before fund release
Funding Purpose
Grant funding of up to INR 5 lakh (90% grant, 10% incubatee contribution), disbursed in two tranches (60%/40%), to convert an idea or proof of concept into a working prototype.
Application Process
Apply to join the R-ABI's agripreneurship orientation cohort; fund release follows successful completion and DPIIT startup registration.
