Seed Funding for Startups Scheme (via Startup Haryana)

Overview

The Seed Funding for Startups Scheme is run by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Haryana, through Startup Haryana (H-HUB), to support startups registered under the Haryana State Startup Policy 2022. It provides financial assistance of up to 10 lakh rupees per startup, with the total number of supported startups allocated by block category across the state.

Eligibility

  • Must be a Category-1 Startup registered with Startup Haryana and recognized as a Startup by DPIIT
  • Registered office of the startup must be in Haryana
  • Startup must have a Haryana Udhyam Memorandum (HUM) for statistical purposes
  • Must be either in Pre-Commercialization Stage or in regular Commercial Operations; Pre-Commercialization stage entities can avail the benefit for 2 years only

Application Process

Startups apply online through the web portal of the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Haryana. Seed grants of up to 10 lakh rupees are allocated across block categories, with 100 startups supported in A category blocks, 250 in B, 750 in C, and 1000 in D category blocks.
