Overview

The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) is a DPIIT-run Government of India program giving early-stage startups financial assistance for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry, and commercialization. AIC Sangam Innovation Foundation is one of the DPIIT-empanelled incubators through which founders can apply.

Eligibility

  • Startup must be recognized by DPIIT
  • Incorporated not more than 2 years before the date of application
  • At least 51% shareholding held by Indian promoters at the time of application
  • Should not have received more than Rs 10 lakh of monetary support under any other Central or State Government scheme

Funding Purpose

Funds are meant to cover proof of concept development, prototype creation, product trials and testing, market entry strategies, and commercialization activities for ventures that have an innovative concept but not yet enough traction for conventional investors.

Application Process

Applicants apply via the national portal at seedfund.startupindia.gov.in using DPIIT recognition login credentials, choosing AIC Sangam as a preferred incubator.
