Overview
Ubharte Sitaare Seed Support Programme is a joint initiative between SIIC, IIT Kanpur and India Exim Bank, providing seed-stage equity funding to startups with export potential. The programme is part of the broader Ubharte Sitaare Programme, a national initiative supporting Indian companies with the potential to become successful exporters.
Eligibility
- At least 51% Indian promoter shareholding
- DPIIT-registered startup, or a winner/finalist of India's Innovation Challenge (iDEX) or an equivalent recognized program
- Product at the development, validation, or early revenue stage with demonstrated export potential
Funding Purpose
Equity investment (via compulsorily convertible preference shares or compulsorily convertible debentures) ranging from INR 25 lakh to INR 1 crore per startup.

Apply through SIIC, IIT Kanpur's official programme page; applications are reviewed jointly with India Exim Bank against export-readiness and eligibility criteria. The programme runs on a cohort basis with periodic application windows.
