Overview

AIC IIT Delhi is an Atal Incubation Centre established at IIT Delhi and funded by the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, operating as the Sonipat Innovation Foundation. It provides physical infrastructure and ecosystem support to early-stage innovators and startups, including private offices, coworking space, meeting rooms, and conference facilities. The centre also runs ecosystem programs such as bootcamps, campus visits, seminars, and workshops, and provides access to labs and specialised equipment.

Eligibility

  • Must incorporate as a private or public limited company under the Companies Act
  • Unincorporated applicants must commit to registering within 3 months of entering incubation
  • Student led ventures eligible only if the student is not actively engaged with the company beyond permitted institute engagement
  • Companies with students in executive positions are ineligible
  • Companies promoted by regular government staff or employees need a No Objection Certificate from the competent authority
  • Consulting, evaluation, certification, or educational course/training businesses are not eligible
