Overview

AIC-JNUFI (Atal Incubation Centre, JNU Foundation for Innovation) is an incubation hub incorporated in May 2019 and based on the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus in New Delhi, focused on converting university research into entrepreneurial ventures in deep-tech, life sciences, and biotech. It is governed by a Board of Directors chaired by the JNU Vice Chancellor and is primarily funded by the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog. The centre currently supports 18 incubated startups and 22 in its pipeline, focused on biotechnology, nano materials, health-tech, and ed-tech.
