AIC-RMP Incubation Program

Overview

AIC-RMP is an incubation centre set up in alignment with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, and run by the Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) Foundation to nurture, handhold, and support new-age entrepreneurs. It focuses on three preferred sectors, agriculture, social impact, and information/communication technology, with an underlying objective of job creation through entrepreneurship. The centre has incubated over 100 startups, helped create over 800 jobs, and supported startups in raising more than INR 50 crore in external funding, drawing on 100-plus mentors and 15-plus collaborative, 50-plus corporate, 10-plus investment, and 20-plus academic partners.

Eligibility

  • Individual or group with a scalable, innovative business model
  • Registered as Private Limited Company, Sole Proprietorship, One Person Company, Partnership Firm, LLP, or other government approved form
  • Startup not older than 7 years from registration (10 years for biotech)
  • Annual turnover must not exceed Rs 25 crore
  • Unregistered applicants may apply if they register within 1 year of incubation start

Funding Purpose

Seed funding and financial assistance are offered as part of incubation support to help entrepreneurs grow their ventures.

The program is structured in four stages: Pre-Incubation, Application, Incubation, and Post-Incubation.
