Overview

AP Ignite is a startup support scheme run by the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS) under the state's Innovation and Startup Policy. It is aimed at early-stage startups, student innovators, and aspiring founders across Andhra Pradesh, and combines grant support with mentorship, incubation, and ecosystem access to help convert ideas into real-world solutions. The scheme runs through APIS's Startup AP portal (apis.ap.gov.in) and operates with a rolling application window. Grant support has been reported at roughly Rs 2 to 3 lakh per selected startup.

  • Early-stage startups, student innovators, and aspiring founders based in Andhra Pradesh

Funding Purpose

The grant support (about Rs 2 to 3 lakh) is intended to help transform innovative ideas into scalable business ventures, covering early validation and ideation-stage costs, alongside non-monetary support such as mentorship and incubation access.

Applicants register and apply through the Startup AP portal at apis.ap.gov.in, where the detailed application process and forms are shared via a linked document on the portal. A recent application cycle had a deadline of June 14, 2026.
