Overview
BIG offers early stage biotech startups grants up to Rs 50 lakh over an 18 month project to reach proof of concept, via twice yearly application calls.
Eligibility
- Early stage or young biotech startups and entrepreneurs converting an innovative idea into proof of concept
Funding Purpose
Grant-in-aid to translate an innovative biotech idea into a proof of concept.
Application Process
Apply online via the BIRAC BIG portal during twice yearly calls (opening 1 January and 1 July, each window about 45 days), routed through one of 8 BIG Partners or 11 Associate Partners nationwide.
