Overview
The BIRAC Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) Fund, hosted at KIIT-TBI, provides equity-linked grant-in-aid funding to Indian biotech and life-sciences companies that have already raised some prior funding and are ready to scale.
Eligibility
- Indian company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013
- At least 51% Indian citizen shareholding
- Working in biotechnology or life sciences
- Company age between 2 and 7 years, with prior funding already raised
Funding Purpose
Equity-linked grant-in-aid funding of up to INR 30 lakh per startup.
