DST NIDHI C-CAMP Accelerator

Overview

The DST NIDHI C-CAMP Accelerator is an initiative of India's Department of Science and Technology (DST), delivered by C-CAMP, designed to rapidly develop startups in the life sciences, healthcare, and agritech sectors. It is a 6-month, cohort-based program that takes companies from the development phase toward commercial launch, selecting 15 startups per cycle for structured mentorship and acceleration support.

Eligibility

  • Must be registered as a startup in India with Indian citizen ownership
  • Must operate within life sciences, healthcare, or agritech sectors
  • Must possess a minimum viable product (MVP) or early proof-of-concept validation

Funding Purpose

The program's support is 360 degree mentorship and acceleration in all domains, including weekly one-on-one mentoring on scientific, technical, and business aspects, plus guidance on IP, regulatory, and biodiversity matters, intended to move startups from development toward commercial launch.

Application Process

Submit an application during the designated window (most recently December 1 to 30, 2024). Administrative screening verifies basic eligibility. An expert panel evaluates scientific strength, commercialization potential, and scalability. Shortlisted candidates present to a Selection Committee, which selects the final cohort of 15 startups.
