EcoInnovate Grant (via ASPIRE, University of Hyderabad)

Overview

The EcoInnovate Grant is a funding initiative run jointly by ASPIRE, the University of Hyderabad's innovation and incubation initiative, and HDFC Bank Parivartan (HDFC Bank's CSR-linked sustainable community development program). It supports startups and innovators addressing environmental sustainability and food-system challenges, specifically targeting technologies that have already reached the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage or beyond, within four thematic tracks.

Eligibility

  • Indian-registered startup with at least 51% Indian ownership
  • At MVP stage or later, with a working, testable product
  • Clear product-market fit, a compelling value proposition, and insight gained through customer discovery
  • Team with relevant domain expertise
  • Priority given to startups with revenue generation or prior funding

Funding Purpose

The grant targets startups working in Sustainable Chemistry, Circular Economy, Waste Valorization, and Smart Alternate Proteins, meant to help MVP-stage ventures in these thematic areas scale toward market readiness.
