Investment-Linked Assistance (via Startup MP)

Overview

Investment-Linked Assistance is a financial support component under the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy, administered by Startup MP (Department of Industries, Government of Madhya Pradesh). It rewards startups that succeed in raising external investment by reimbursing a portion of the funds they receive from recognised financial institutions, reducing the effective cost of raising capital and encouraging further investor confidence in the MP startup ecosystem. It can be availed multiple times across a startup's growth journey, up to a lifetime cap.

Eligibility

  • Startup must have DPIIT recognition
  • Must have received funds or investment from a financial institution recognised by SEBI or RBI
  • Loan or investment repayment period must be at least one year
  • Assistance can be availed up to four times during the startup's lifetime, with a total cap of Rs. 60 lakh

Funding Purpose

The assistance is meant to offset a share of the capital a startup has already raised from institutional investors, disbursed as reimbursement at the rate of 15 percent of the investment received, capped at Rs. 15 lakh per instance, with an additional 20 percent assistance for women-founded startups.
