Overview
MeitY GENESIS is a national scheme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, hosted at FTBI, NIT Rourkela, supporting deep-tech startups from Tier-II and Tier-III cities through matching investment and pilot funding tracks. Two live calls run under this scheme: GENESIS EiR Cohort 3 and GENESIS Investment 2.0.
Eligibility
- DPIIT-registered Indian private limited company
- At least 51% Indian ownership
- Based in a Tier-II or Tier-III city
- Working in technology domains such as AI/ML, deep-tech, cybersecurity, IoT, or fintech
Funding Purpose
Matching Investment track provides up to INR 50 lakh per startup; Pilot Funding track provides up to INR 40 lakh per startup.
