Overview

MeitY TIDE 2.0 (Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs) is a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India scheme supporting technology-focused startups working with electronics and IT-enabled innovation. AIC-ALEAP We-Hub serves as a designated centre implementing the scheme for founders in its region, with applications accepted year-round.

Eligibility

  • Open to all Indian citizens
  • Innovation must employ IoT, AI, AR/VR, drone technologies, robotics, blockchain, gaming/3D printing, or machine learning
  • Focus areas include infrastructure, environment/cleantech, healthcare, education, agriculture, financial inclusion, and clean energy

Funding Purpose

The scheme provides Rs 4 lakh in Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) support, Rs 7 lakh in grants, and up to Rs 40 lakh in investment, intended to take a technology innovation from early development through to a fundable, scalable venture.

Application Process

Calls are open throughout the year rather than on a fixed cycle. A screening committee evaluates applicants against the eligibility criteria, and hackathons, ideathons, and boot camps are used to source and facilitate applications.
