Overview

The Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS) is a comprehensive incubation scheme entrusted by MeitY to the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) for implementation. CHUNAUTI (Challenge Hunt Under NGIS for Advanced Uninhibited Technology Intervention) is a series of online challenges run under NGIS to identify and support young technology entrepreneurs, who become NGIS beneficiaries by participating in these All India Start-up Challenges and Hackathons.

Eligibility

  • Startups working in sectors such as FinTech, Healthcare and Wellness, Education and Skill Enhancement, DeepTech, E-Commerce, Enterprise Software/SaaS, Environment, E-governance Solutions, Tourism and Hospitality, Agriculture, Cyber Security, and Assistive Technology
  • Selection is based on innovativeness of idea, novelty of solution, strength of team, and soundness of business proposal

Funding Purpose

The scheme targets incentivising 300 select startups with seed funding of up to Rs. 25 lakh each, provided based on the innovativeness of the idea, novelty of the solution, strength of the team, and soundness of the business proposal.

Application Process

Entrepreneurs become NGIS beneficiaries by participating in the CHUNAUTI series of All India Start-up Challenges and Hackathons, which act as the screening process for selection.
