Overview

NIDHI Entrepreneur in Residence (NIDHI-EIR) is a nurturing budding entrepreneurs fellowship program supported by India's Department of Science and Technology (DST) and administered nationally with Venture Center, Pune, as a coordinating partner. It operates through a network of participating incubators, referred to as Program Execution Partners, that must be TBIs or STEPs promoted or recognized by a State Government or a Department of the Central Government of India.

Funding Purpose

The program provides a monthly stipend, cited at Rs. 30,000 per month, to budding entrepreneurs, structured as a fellowship to support them while they develop their startup idea under the mentorship of a host incubator.

Aspiring entrepreneurs first review the eligibility requirements on the program site, then identify and approach a participating incubator. Applications are submitted during announced call periods (referred to as rounds), and the host incubators manage selection and administer the fellowship stipend.
