Overview

The NIDHI iTBI-DST Ignition Grant, delivered through DTU Innovation and Incubation Foundation (DTU-IIF), is a financial assistance and mentoring program specifically designed for women led technology startups. It provides financial assistance to women led startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry, and commercialization.

Eligibility

  • Viable business idea with market fit and scaling potential
  • Technology used in the core product, service, business model, or distribution
  • At least 51% shareholding held by women promoters at the time of receiving grants
  • Grant and debt/convertible debenture support can each be accessed only once

Funding Purpose

A grant of up to Rs. 10 lakhs funds validation of proof of concept, prototype development, or product trials, while separate debt or convertible debenture support can be accessed for market entry, commercialization, or scaling. Funds are disbursed in milestone based installments.
