NIDHI Seed Support Program (via AIC CCMB)

Overview
AIC-CCMB implements the NIDHI Seed Support Program (NIDHI-SSP), a scheme of the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, under the National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations (NIDHI).
Eligibility
- Incubatee must be a company registered in India
- Minimum of three months of residency at AIC-CCMB
- Must be an Indian startup, not an Indian subsidiary of a foreign company or MNC
- OCI/PIO holders are treated as Indian citizens for this purpose
- Indian promoters must hold at least 51% of shares in the company
Funding Purpose
Financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh up to Rs 100 lakh is provided under DST NIDHI-SSP as investment towards seed support for the startup's growth.
Application Process
Innovators and startups apply to a listed incubator or Technology Business Incubator (TBI) such as AIC-CCMB, which announces periodic calls for applications.
