Overview
The NIDHI Seed Support Program (NIDHI-SSP) is implemented by the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and offered locally through the PDEU Innovation and Incubation Centre (PDEU IIC). It provides financial assistance to startups at their seed stage, supporting proof of concept, prototyping, product trials, and market entry, combined with mentorship on business models and market strategies.
Eligibility
- Company must be registered in India, with DPIIT registration preferred
- Minimum 3 months' association with the incubator, either resident or virtual program
- Must demonstrate clarity on Unique Selling Proposition through customer validation
- At least 51 percent shareholding by Indian promoters
Funding Purpose
Funding of up to Rs. 100 lakh per startup is available, with an average ticket size of Rs. 25 lakh, intended to support proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, and commercialization.
