Overview
An exclusive equity investment fund by the Government of Tamil Nadu, implemented through StartupTN, addressing financial exclusion by investing in innovation-led, scalable startups founded by Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs.
Eligibility
- More than 50% equity held by one or more persons belonging to the SC/ST category
- Entrepreneur must be a native of Tamil Nadu or of Tamil origin
- Preference given to startups with their principal base of operation within Tamil Nadu
Funding Purpose
A Rs 80 crore fund providing equity investment to SC/ST-founded startups, processed batch-wise on a first-in-first-out basis; over Rs 60 crore already sanctioned across prior cohorts.

Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the StartupTN portal. Applications are processed batch-wise on a first-in-first-out basis.
