AICTE Productization Fellowship

Overview

The AICTE Productization Fellowship (APF) pays students Rs 37,000/month for up to a year (extendable to a second year if the prototype is completed) plus a Rs 50,000/year team contingency grant, disbursed via DBT. 500 teams are selected annually in Stage 1, 150 advance to Stage 2.

Eligibility

  • Full-time UG/PG/PhD student (or passed out within 2 years) at an AICTE-approved institution
  • Individual or team of up to 3 (4 in exceptional cases)
  • Project must be at least proof-of-concept stage - simple undeveloped ideas are not eligible

Funding Purpose

Monthly stipend plus contingency grant to help students take a validated prototype toward a marketable product.
