YUKTI Innovation Challenge

Overview
The YUKTI Innovation Challenge (YIC) is MoE's Innovation Cell and AICTE's direct funding scheme routed through the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) network, disbursing Rs 1-10 lakh grants per innovation. An official 2023 disbursement list confirmed 135 named student/faculty recipients.
Eligibility
- Students, faculty, alumni, or incubatees at an IIC-registered institution
- Innovation/prototype stage (TRL 4-9) - pure idea/PoC submissions must first be upgraded to innovation stage before nomination
Funding Purpose
Grant assistance for innovations nominated through the IIC network, released after regional pitching and business-plan evaluation.

Individual submission via the YUKTI portal, then nominated onward by the home institute's IIC.
