Overview
The EmpowerHer Fund is a dedicated funding pool under Startup Nagaland, disbursed through implementing partner organisations rather than directly to individual startups, aimed at supporting women entrepreneur development. The Nagaland Innovation Society (NIS) selects and sanctions the partner organisations that receive and deploy this funding.
Eligibility
- Recipient must be a recognised women-focused organisation such as an incubator, NGO, women's organisation, institution, or society
- Activities funded must target women entrepreneur development
Funding Purpose
Up to Rs. 10 lakh annually is allocated to implementing partners for mentorship support to help women-led startups scale, livelihood generation programs, or other women-related activities.
