Overview
The Kotak BizLabs Accelerator Programme is a CSR initiative of Kotak Mahindra Bank delivered in partnership with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP), a nonprofit focused on entrepreneurship in East and Northeast India. It is designed to support and scale 20 early revenue stage startups with social and environmental impact.
Eligibility
- Must demonstrate proven revenue traction within the last 12 months
- Valid DPIIT registration is mandatory
- Must operate in a focus sector such as AgriTech, FinTech, EdTech, Healthcare, DeepTech, ClimateTech or Sustainability
- Must address a social and/or environmental challenge
Funding Purpose
Startups receive a non-dilutive grant of up to Rs. 30 lakh, structured as an initial disbursement plus performance linked top up support, meant to fund the scaling of an already revenue generating business. This is paired with 150-plus hours of mentoring across the cohort, bootcamps and workshops, and investor readiness preparation.
Application Process
Applicants submit a written application, followed by a multi-stage evaluation that includes pitching, and a selection committee review based on problem-solution fit, business viability, innovation, impact potential and scalability. Contact: pankaj.baruah@iimcip.org.
