Overview
PRIF PRAKRITI is a 12 month incubation and acceleration program conceptualised by the Pernod Ricard India Foundation (PRIF) and implemented by IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP), a hub of entrepreneurship development in East and Northeast India. It is designed specifically for early stage circular economy and sustainability startups, sectors the program notes tend to struggle more than tech startups to scale and attract investment.
Eligibility
- Must be an early stage, revenue generating startup or enterprise
- Must operate in North East India
- Must focus on circular economy, plastic or glass recycling, sustainable indigenous products, or green manufacturing
- Must have a market ready product (MVP)
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen
Funding Purpose
The top 5 finalists who progress through the program's later stages receive a grant of up to Rs. 20 lakh, meant to help circular economy and sustainability ventures scale from an existing MVP.
Application Process
The program runs in four phases over 12 months: outreach, selection and diagnostics; Incubation Stage 1 with 10 startups; Incubation Stage 2 with 5 startups; and a closing demo day and summit.
