Overview
SIDBI SEED of a-IDEA is an agri-innovation seed fund jointly backed by ICAR-NAARM, SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India), and a-IDEA (Agri-Innovation Development and Enterprise Advancement), designed to accelerate the next generation of Agri and Allied startups with strategic capital and ecosystem backing, providing up to Rs 1 crore per startup.
Eligibility
- Early-stage startup with a scalable technology or solution, ranging from Proof of Concept/MVP to early commercialization
- Must be a-IDEA incubated, or ready for incubation, with full-time founders
- Must be a DPIIT-recognized Indian Private Limited company under 10 years old
- Minimum 51% Indian ownership required
- Cannot have received prior SIDBI seed funding
Funding Purpose
The fund provides strategic capital, up to Rs 1 crore per startup, meant to help Agri and Allied startups scale a technology or solution from proof of concept/MVP toward early commercialization.
