Overview

The GENESIS Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) Program is operated by JECRC Incubation Centre in Jaipur, Rajasthan under MeitY Startup Hub, with support from MeitY and TIDE 2.0 funding. It supports early-stage innovators from Tier-II and Tier-III cities working in electronics, IT, and deeptech, providing grants, R&D lab and coworking infrastructure access, mentorship, networking, and launch guidance covering market entry and IP protection.

Eligibility

  • Indian citizens who are students or have less than 2 years of entrepreneurial experience
  • Located in and operating from a Tier-II or Tier-III city
  • Working in ICT, electronics, or deeptech sectors (AI, IoT, blockchain, cybersecurity, AR/VR)
  • Willing to be physically incubated at JECRC during the program

Funding Purpose

Grants of up to Rs 10 lakhs fund the transformation of an innovative idea into a working prototype, with particular emphasis on deeptech sectors including VLSI and VR.

Application Process

Applicants submit an online application through the designated portal. Experts screen applications and evaluate pitches, selected founders sign formal agreements, and grants are disbursed in two installments.
