Overview
The GENESIS Pilot Fund is run by JECRC Incubation Centre (JIC), a TIDE 2.0 MeitY-backed incubator in Jaipur supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the Government of India. It helps startups transition from prototype stage to market deployment by funding real-world pilots executed with corporate partners, PSUs, and large enterprises, providing product validation with actual enterprise users and a structured pathway to commercial-scale deployment.
Eligibility
- Registered as a Private Limited company or LLP
- Recognized as a DPIIT startup
- Has a working prototype or MVP ready for deployment
- Holds a valid Work Order or Purchase Order from a corporate, PSU, or unicorn company
- Operating in ICT, AI, deeptech, or Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM)
Funding Purpose
Funding of up to Rs 40 lakhs supports pilot execution and deployment with corporate and PSU partners, enabling real-world product validation and building market credibility and investor readiness.
Application Process
JIC announces a call for proposals, followed by internal screening and evaluation, then final approval by a MeitY Expert Committee. A tripartite agreement is established among the startup, JIC, and the corporate partner, and pilot execution begins with milestone-based funding disbursement.
