GENESIS, Pilot PoC Support (via MeitY Startup Hub)

Overview

The Pilot Funding Support component of MeitY Startup Hub's GENESIS scheme (Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups) enables startups to test, validate, and deploy market-ready solutions in collaboration with corporates, PSUs, or large enterprises. It is one of several tracks under the Rs. 490 crore, 5-year GENESIS umbrella scheme, bridging the gap between prototype and market-ready product by funding real-world pilot deployments with established organisations.

Eligibility

  • Registered Indian entity (Private Limited Company) with at least 51 percent Indian ownership
  • Valid DPIIT Startup recognition certificate
  • Must have a Pilot work order or Purchase order from a Fortune 500 company, a corporate with minimum turnover of Rs. 75 crore or more, a Public Sector Undertaking, or a Unicorn startup

Funding Purpose

Startups receive funding support of up to Rs. 40 lakhs to execute the pilot, covering costs of testing, validating, and deploying their solution with the partnering corporate, PSU, or enterprise.
