Overview
The Scaleup Grant is a Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) scheme for technology-based startups that have demonstrated strong market validation and are ready to expand operations. KSUM offers financial assistance of up to Rs. 15 lakh to help startups expand into new markets, strengthen branding and marketing, enhance product features, and accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Eligibility
- Must have generated Rs. 10 lakh in revenue from the product in the last 6 months, or raised at least Rs. 30 lakh through external equity investment
- Must own an innovative technology-based product
- Must hold a valid KSUM Unique ID
- Must be incorporated as a Private Limited company, LLP, or OPC with active MCA status
- 50% of the approved grant amount must be brought as margin money
Funding Purpose
Funds are used primarily for marketing, branding, business development, customer acquisition, and limited product enhancement.
Application Process
Applications are submitted through grants.startupmission.in during official calls, followed by shortlisting, then a pitch presentation before the Expert Committee, evaluated on team, product innovation, marketing, financials, and the utilization plan.
