Overview
The Patent Reimbursement scheme is a Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), Government of Kerala initiative that reimburses startups and student entrepreneurs for expenses already incurred in securing patents, rather than funding the process upfront.

- Startup must be registered in Kerala within ten years of incorporation

Reimbursement is capped at up to Rs. 2 lakh per awarded Indian patent and up to Rs. 10 lakh for an awarded foreign patent on the same subject matter. Renewals and appeals against a rejection are not covered.

- Verify current eligibility, funding amount, and deadline on the official page before applying. Details can change after we last verified them.
- Once you apply, all follow-up (screening updates, interview or pitch invites, and the final decision) comes directly from the facilitator, incubator, or investor, never from ZeedFund. Check their application portal or email yourself for status updates; we won't have visibility into it.
