Overview
This Startup Nagaland scheme reimburses recognised startups for the costs of filing and prosecuting a patent, encouraging intellectual property protection among the state's startups, with enhanced support for women-led startups.
Eligibility
- Must be a startup selected/recognised under Startup Nagaland
- Patent application must be filed during the startup's tenure under the policy
Funding Purpose
The scheme reimburses filing fees, attorney fees, search fees, and maintenance fees for domestic patents, up to Rs. 1 lakh for regular startups and up to Rs. 1.5 lakh for women-led startups, paid 50 percent upon filing submission and 50 percent upon patent grant.
