Overview

MeitY GENESIS EIR is part of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's GENESIS scheme, supporting startups working on cutting edge technologies and digital innovation, with Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF) acting as an approved partner facilitating this specific EIR track. It targets very early stage ventures, from ideation through validation, that need to be physically incubated to receive support.

Eligibility

  • Indian citizen, minimum 18 years old, committed to working full time on the venture
  • Startup in ideation, validation, or early stage phase, with external funding received not exceeding Rs. 10 lakh
  • Technological innovation in Electronics Design and Manufacturing, ICT, or Deeptech Software and Products
  • Must be physically incubated at Chitkara's facility

Funding Purpose

Funding support of up to INR 10 lakhs is meant for prototype development, product creation, and scaling, along with market research and customer validation work needed to move the idea from concept toward a real product.

Applicants can apply either online through the MeitY Startup Hub platform or by submitting a Google Form directly to CIIF.
