Overview

MeitY GENESIS Matching Investment is part of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology's GENESIS scheme, targeting startups from Tier II and Tier III cities that already have a validated solution and proof of concept and are ready to scale and attract venture capital. Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF) facilitates applications into this track alongside the official MeitY portal.

Eligibility

  • Registered Indian private company with at least 51% Indian ownership
  • Based in a Tier II or Tier III city
  • Valid DPIIT certificate
  • Tech based product in domains such as AI/ML, Blockchain, Fintech, or Health-tech
  • Existing funding commitment already secured from an angel investor or VC
  • No prior MeitY TIDE 2.0 Scaleup or SAMRIDH funding received

Funding Purpose

Equity based matching investment support of up to INR 50 lakhs is intended for acceleration and scaling of startups that already have validated business models, alongside mentorship, access to co-working spaces and labs, and networking platforms.

Applicants can apply through either the official MeitY portal (mshportal.meity.gov.in) or through Chitkara's own Accubate platform (ciif.accubate.app).
