Overview
The MeitY GENESIS Pilot Funding Program is a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology initiative to support startups working in cutting edge technologies and digital innovation, with a specific focus on startups from smaller cities. Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF) is an approved partner facilitating applications into the scheme. The program is built to help startups that already have a working solution validate it in the real world by executing a paid or unpaid pilot with a large organisation, bridging the gap between having a product and having a proven, market ready solution.
Eligibility
- Registered Indian private company with at least 51% Indian ownership
- Located in a Tier II or Tier III city
- Holds a valid DPIIT certificate
- Focused on ICT domains such as IT and AI, electronic design and manufacturing, or deeptech products
- Has not previously received MeitY TIDE 2.0 or SAMRIDH funding
- Has a minimum viable product or working prototype
- Holds a pilot work order or purchase order from a government body, Fortune 500 company, PSU, or an established corporate with turnover above Rs. 75 crore and at least 5 years of operations
Funding Purpose
Funding of up to INR 40 lakhs is meant specifically for product deployment, executing the pilot with the partner organisation so the startup can demonstrate its solution works at real scale before wider commercialization.
Application Process
Applicants apply online through the Accubate platform link provided on the CIIF GENESIS Pilot page, submitting details of their product, DPIIT status, and the pilot work order or purchase order they have secured with a qualifying partner organisation.
