Overview

MeitY TIDE 2.0 EIR, delivered through Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF), is designed to nurture student and startup innovation by validating and developing an idea through an Entrepreneur in Residence style fellowship. It targets very young, first time founders who need a structured runway, mentorship, and network access before formally registering a company.

Eligibility

  • Completed a bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, biotechnology, medicine, law, or a similar field, or is in the final year of such a degree
  • Under 25 years old
  • No existing source of income
  • Must register their own company within 3 months of acceptance into the program
  • Cannot be a shareholder or promoter of another company

Funding Purpose

A monthly stipend of between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 30,000, capped at a total of Rs. 3,60,000 over 12 to 18 months based on milestone achievement, funds idea validation and prototype development for the founder's product, alongside access to a fellowship grant, networks, mentors, and other fellow entrepreneurs.

Application Process

Applicants submit via a Google Form, and evaluation is based on the uniqueness of the idea, its societal impact, existing proof of concept, feasibility timeline, and long term sustainability.
